Promoting Wellness Through Nutrition and Lifestyle

Would you like to improve your mental health naturally? Are you interested in learning more about the gut/brain connection and how nutrition affects mental health? In this workshop Lisa will share how nutrition and lifestyle have played an important role in her journey to mental wellness.  She will share her findings from years of research and personal experience on topics such as:

  • The brain and neurotransmitters
  • Inflammation and it’s role in mental health
  • Underlying causes of depression and anxiety:
    • vitamin deficiencies
    • medical conditions
  • Healthy gut, healthy brain nutrition
  • Foods to eliminate from your diet
  • How to heal the gut

What: In-person workshop on “Promoting Wellness Through Nutrition and Lifestyle”

When: Monday, July 13 at 6:30 pm

Where: Beautiful Minds office at 13300 New Airport Road, Auburn, CA 95602

Cost: $20 per person

About the Instructor:

Lisa Haglin has thirty-five years of nursing experience and earned her B.S. in Nursing from the University of California State Dominguez Hills. Lisa’s variety of expertise ranges from Physical Rehabilitation, Medical Surgical, Postpartum, Home Care, and Public Health. When not presenting her passion of health and nutrition, she attends conferences, reads, exercises, volunteers at her church, teaches faith formation to children, feeds the homeless, and enjoys hiking in nature. Her greatest joy is spending time with her children and grandchildren! Lisa is passionate about sharing her healing journey to physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental wellness through nutrition and lifestyle.
